Alright, let's jump right in:
                                                               Who
Birungi Kayiira (much prefer Gigi, thank you), confusing American-Ugandan child of the east coast granite state and Satan's armpit (Phoenix, AZ of course.)
My reputation showcases me as an extremely empathetic, creative, helpful ball of sunshine that will always give 100% in whatever I do. There's not much point doing something if I'm not going to put my all into it. I'm also quite fond of hugs.
I have a big family and honestly don't know who I'd be without them. Strongest and stubbornest single mom known to man, smartest and spiciest baby sister I had the pleasure to raise/grow up with, inspirational no-nonsense aunts and the coolest uncles.
The same is going to be said about the people I've been lucky enough to call my friends I've met throughout my life. I wouldn't be the Gigi I am today without their acceptance and experiences we've made to shape me.
Hobbies include drawing, writing, creating worlds and drama to riddle them with, reading, traveling, baking and video games. Currently practicing animation and design pretty fervently and it is a BLAST, when there's time.
Strengths: Stubborn determination, fast & efficient learner, curiosity that never gets tired, really, really fascinated with people, appreciates constructive criticism
Weaknesses: Stubborn perfectionist tendencies, asks a lot of questions, will get into a mood if anxious, anything with insects. Please. No. It is kill on sight.
What

When
Customer Service: Been serving joy & smiles since '95 (ha!) Professionally, 2016, 10 years
Art: Since 2000 to make my sister and soul happy, never stopped since. 25+ years
Design: Since 2015 at Grand Canyon University studying Graphic Design & Animation. Professionally, 2024 for UX debut, so 2 years
Healthcare: Freshman year of high school, 2013-now. Professionally, 2022, 4 years

Why
To be honest, I just finally got tired of having to keep the 2 biggest parts of myself separate, having to always pick one or other to try and fit into what I thought was the better path or environment or expectations to fit in.

Customer service never required to stress about either side: it's just "Yay people and new programs/policies to learn! I can do this no sweat". Helping people and following rules comes easily to me, and I like making people happy within reason.
